something new

I finally got my nipple pierced! I've been wanting to do this for awhile now and finally did it. It's been healing pretty good so far. I think once this one completely heals I'm going to get the other one done too. :-)

The piercer actually told me I have tiny nipples. And he said that while "fishing" the needle through my nipple. That's when the discomfort set in. The "fishing" around, not the comment. I thought the comment was funny. He also had to kind of play with my nipples to get them erect enough for him to pierce it. :-p

Now I just need to get started on my tattoos!!! Can't wait for those...

im not sure...

When I first read this I immediately began to try and filter everyone I've ever met into one of these categories. I was able to place certain people with little difficulty but with some others I still have not figured out their place in my life. The more I try to figure it out the harder it gets.

A Reason, A Season, A Lifetime

People always come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

..

When someone is in your life for a REASON,

it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty,

or to provide you with guidance and support,

to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually.

They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are.

They are there for the reason you need them to be.

...

Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time,

this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

...

Sometimes they die. Sometimes they just walk away.

Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

...

When people come into your life for a SEASON,

it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.

They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.

They may teach you something you have never done.

They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.

Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall,

the season eventually ends.

...

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;

those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.

Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway);

and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being part of my life.

Minutes

I can officially say that I have a rhythm to things now. I have a job now with decent hours and decent pay. I have not been able to say that for some time now. I've been going to the gym quite frequently too. I've also been able to keep up with things that keep me sane. Well except for updating this blog. Writing, typing rather, takes a bit more effort. But I'm getting there.

Honestly though, regarding work, I can't say that I am 100% happy. Big surprise. How many people can actually say they are happy with their job? "::cricket... cricket:: I like retail and all, there is something different going on everyday but some things are a constant. And those are the things that I'm not happy with. Even more, I oddly miss my old retail job. I don't want to go down this road of retail talk any more.

Now there is one thing I am super excited about and that is the fact that I've been going to the gym on a regular basis. I've been keeping up with my eating habits too. I CANNOT skip meals. Big no no for me. Starting tomorrow, the first day of Spring, I officially have 3 months to whip myself into shape before the summer. Here is to a successful Spring.  And good luck to anyone else out there with similar goals or any goal for that matter!!!
